MTFD Support Services is a vital part of the department. Based on the "Ladies Auxillary" of the past, these dedicated people provide drinks and food to the firefighters at scenes and training, assist with organizing special events like parades and fundraisers. If you live in the area/vicinity of Monroe Township (Henryville, Underwood, Memphis, BlueLick) and you would like to serve your local community in a rewarding manner, please consider becoming a volunteer firefighter. Thank you for your interest in volunteering to serve your community. There is more to being a member of MTVFD than just being a firefighter. You can serve as an EMT/First Responder, Engineer/Driver or Support Services/Auxiliary. We have three stations needing volunteers: Station One (Henryville), Station Two (Underwood), and Station Three (Blue Lick Rd). By submitting an application, the applicant understands that MTVFD will conduct a Criminal History/Background Check. To get started, fill out the form below and click "submit". Next, visit the "Files" link on the MTVFD.com home page. Download and print the PDF Application. Fill it out completely and return to MTVFD, PO Box 88, Henryville IN 47126. You may also drop-off a completed Application to Monroe Fire Department Station 1 at 315 South Ferguson St, Henryville, IN. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
